Hello,

Attached are images of the 1994 Bridgestone RB-T that I purchased on eBay about 18 months ago. I received the bike in good/very good condition (some scratches down to the primer on the seat and chain stays and slight damage to decals).

You've heard of Rivendell's Country Bike Movement? Well, I think I've taken it a step further, having fun Walter Mitty'ing it into a Pioneer Trekking Bike in preparation of a fanciful petroleum apocalypse -- "Leading a rag-tag band of survivors across the desolate North American continent on his trusty Bridgestone RB-T...." Seriously though, it's my bike of choice in inclement weather or when night falls -- it's also my most modern bike, and although several of my classics have fenders and lights, they all have bottle dynamos (which is a real drag).

The bike is essentially stock with the following components, as described in the 1994 Bridgestone Catalog (non-stock items are annotated with an asterisk [*]): Frame: Tange, CrMo, butted Fork: CrMo Headset: Stronglight* Front Derailleur: Shimano RX-100 Rear Derailleur: Shimano RX-100 Shifters: Shimano Barcon* (Bike came with down tube-mounted Shimano RX-100 shifters that the owner said the bike was originally equipped -- I promptly swopped 'em off for the barcons) Cranks: Shimano RX-100 (52 x 42 x 30) Bottom Bracket: Shimano 105 Pedals: MKS Sylvian w/ Black Cage*, KKT leather-covered toe clips*, and Alfredo Binda leather straps* Freewheel: Shimano 7 speed Chain: Shimano Hyperglide Hubs: Shimano HG, 32H Rims: Araya VX-400 Tires: Panaracer Pasela Tourguard Kevlar 700x35* Spokes: Stainless 14 ga. Brakes/Levers: Shimano Alivo, Exage 300 EX lever Saddle: Brooks B17 Champion Special, Honey* Seat Post: Kalloy SP-243, 300mm, 27.0 Handlebars: SR CTB, aluminum Stem: Annodized black Sakae* Grips: Cinelli Brick Red* (closest match to the Brooks Honey I could find COTS) Color: Dark Green Metallic Size: 56 cm Accessories: 2x Bridgestone (Specialized) Water bottles mounted in 2x Avenir black cages* Blackburn Front Mountain Rack with a Performance Rack Strap* Ascent Rear Rack with a Performance Cargo Net* Carradice's version of Rivendell's Hobo bag in the front* Carradice's Barley bag and Cape Roll in the rear* (I'm man enough to admit that I'm a shameless bag-matcher!) Gransfors Mini Belt Hatchet* (suitable for preparing kindling, driving tent pegs, and conducting Yakuza initiations. It has a 10 1/2 inch long handle, weighs only 12 oz., and comes with it's own leather sheath) Zefal black fenders*, front and rear, with Gilles Berthoud leather mudflap mounted on the front* Zefal hf 635 handlebar mounted halogen light* Vista Light Eclipse rear light (with two funky strobe settings)* Zefal HPx4 frame pump*

Cheers,
