Hello

Here is a bike I call the "Copper Bopper". I purchased a set of wood fenders and built it around them. I had the steel lugged frame copper plated. I put on a set of moustache bars with bar end brakes. I had to have the brake bridge removed and rewelded on to fit fenders. I tried to blend old with new. It has an indexed 8 speed downtube shifters with a "Megarange" rear cassette. I also have a 3 ring front sprocket.

To offset the copper I put a green Brooks saddle with copper rivets on it and also threw on a set of green anodized wheels. It has center pull brakes, Brooks leather tool bag, 700x28 cc tires and wireless cyclometer. This is a "rider". I put over 1000 miles on it last summer, including a tour of the Upper Pennisula of Michigan. I included a picture of bike on tour and also a picture of a me geting ready for a late February ride.
