Hi, Jim (Mr. Fiend)

Finally, here's my Quickbeam. I decided on 'current classics' mostly on the way it's built up now: Dingle cog and two chainrings removes it from the "singlespeed" category.

Build:
Suzue ProMax fixed/fixed loose-ball hubs, blue Velocity Razors.
Surly Dingle cog, 17/21t, SRAM 9 speed chain, stock Sugino 40/32t rings.
Eggbeater pedals, usually run with my home-brew skateboard-deck clip-in inserts.
Green cable housing, green-painted fenders and Salsa stem (Plasti-Kote "Shamrock"!)
Maglight and Night Hawk light head P-clamped to the Nitto M12 rack.
Basket with a metal sign (for mojo).
Rubber-gasket mudflaps, green-painted fender QRs, but the green's coming right off.
"Fancy paint" job fauxed with 2M reflective tape cut to fill in the lug windows and the fork details.
Oh yeah: WTB drop bars, green Brooks (of course), etc., tedious etc. :^) I use this bike for errands, riding to work, and rambles in the Oregon countryside. I supersized the tires to 35mm SpeedBlend Paselas. Hopefully they'll give a little more float on the gravel roads around here. It's good I didn't go for 38s, since the 35s barely fit with the new Dingle cog and chain.

Thanks!
