Hi Jim,

Here are the photos of my Colnago which I believe will be a future classic.

It's the last iteration of the C40, released just prior to the introduction of the C50 in 2004. This frame has all the same features of the C50, Bstay seat stays, HP chainstays. The major difference between the 2 models is the C50 has larger diameter tubes and a 1 1/8th headtube.

I've ridden both and the C50 is a bit stiffer, but I really like the ride quality of The C40. I've set the bike up with Campy Record Carbon components and a set of rare FSA 177.5 mm Carbon cranks (try to find them at your LBS!).

The seat post, stem and headset are all painted with the Colnago logo. I'm very partial to the San Marco Rolls saddle despite its weight. Wheels are 28 hole Record Hubs laced to Mavic CXP 33's. I used a Ritchey classic bend handle bar topped off with some Colnago bar wrap.

This is my century ride bike. It provides all day comfort and is just sexy to look at.

Thanks,

Rich
