Jim,

Thanks for the site. I've enjoyed it a great deal. Here's my latest project. I wanted something lighter than a bleriot for the Oakland and Berkeley hills.

This is an old Centurion Turbo '84. The paint was scratched up so I stripped the paint off down to what I think is chrome. Came out ok, except there's a spot that was sanded down, so not quite perfect. It's a 650B conversion, and the ride is real cushy.

Here's the build list:

Nitto Noodle 44cm
Nitto Technomic Deluxe 10cm
Ultegra 8 speed bar end shifters
Ultegra rear derailleur long cage
Suntour Superbe front derailleur
Rivendell Silver Brakes
Tektro brake levers
XTR m900 hubs.
I had to change the axle on the rear because the spacing is only 126mm. It fits!
XTR 12-32 cassette
Velocity Synergy rims
Col de la Vie tires
Specialized Touring Cranks 34-46 rings.
The 34 is a Surly Steel ring
Shimano SPD pedals

Thanks,

Ray Colmenar
