In early 2007 we acquired this pair of Schwinn tourers from a fellow who purchased them new in 1978, and then proceeded to never ride them. They were both 100% stock, except mine which had acquired some Specialized tires in the early 80's. The mixte even has the original tires and tubes. Neither sets of tires hold air very well, but my wife and I have not yet been able to bring ourselves to part with them; it's kind of funny to pump up the tires a bit before we go to the farmer's market on Saturdays. :-)

I've since BOB'd mine out with a Blackburn rack, an old Brooks B17, lights, and now a giant blue milk crate for carrying groceries and Otis the Boston Terrier.
