| Hi
              Jim, Thanks
for your great site. I love to see all the fantastic bikes out there.
              I'm really getting inspired. Here
is my Soma Double Cross commuter/'round town bike. The colour is
their version of a "British Racing Green". It doesn't show up in
the pictures, but it is a very dark green with hints of purple (go
figure) in bright sunlight. The components are as follows: Frame:
58cm Soma Double Cross Shimano 105 drivetrain: 10speed cassette with 50-32 double crank
              with 175mm crank arm
 Shimano brifters
Nitto Noodle bar 44cm with cork tape
 Nitto UI-5EX stem
 Brakes, Shimano BR550 cantis
 Hubs, Velocity
 Rims, Velocity Aero
 Tires, Continental Contact 700x32c
 Saddle, Brooks B17
 Pedals, generic (?) SPD/flat
 Fenders, SKS 700x35
 This
bike It gets a lot of riding and the only problem I have with it
is size. My next bike will be a touch bigger (see the seatpost and
headspacers). Speaking of next bikes, I have a custom lugged steel
commuter/randonneuse coming this spring from a local builder. I
              am so pumped! Regards,
               Ron
