Here are a few images of my new (old) 1981 Schwinn Voyageur 11.8. I acquired it in pretty rough condition but that was fine because I knew I could bring it back to life. The bike was stripped to the bare frame and completely cleaned and lubed. I did have to replace the wheels, tires, brake pads, freewheel and chain to make it reliable for the long haul. The handlebars\tape were replaced for comfort. The saddle came on the bike and although it isn't the original it really is a nice accent (seamless Italian red leather no less). All other items are original. This Schwinn is a very solid performer. Photos were taken during a very wet ride, and it was great!
