Actually, this is not mine. This is a gift I built (with the help of many BOBs and others) for a young man whose family has recently had some very serious trouble. The frame/fork is a Bottecchia (with chromed Brev. Campy dropouts front and read) with a Shimano BB, Sugino crank, Shimano chain (with SRAM link), generic bars and stem, Kalloy post and Avocet leather saddle. The brakes are Universal center-pulls with Tektro levers. The wheels are Suntour/Mavic rear, Shimano/Matrix front, with a 42t chainring and 16t Shimano freewheel. I had to get creative for some parts, such as the F/R brake adjusters, but my junkbox came through. Tires are Specialized Armadillo, 700c x 28mm, and ride very nicely.

Thanks to all for their help with the Gift project. Tomorrow night (Christmas eve) it will be locked up outside the recipient's home, and his mother will place the keys in his stocking. I think we'll have one happy rider!
