I really enjoy your site...I am sending several photos of my dumpster find. I wish I would have taken a photo before I started converting it..Here is the finished bike (for now).It is a 1980 Schwinn Continental, mainly made up of parts I had laying around. I kept the original one piece crank, but I put on a 44 tooth ring, and on the rear I have a 16 tooth.kept the 27's, and I could not make myself cut off the kickstand. Got a hold of a used Brooks,which works for me perfectly, turning this into the best ride I have ever owned..
