Hey Jim,

This bike started as a stock 1983 Peugeot uo-14(Midnight blue). I purchased the bike from my father-in-law for 60 bucks! The tires, cables and brake shoes were shot, the rest was great! Originally i kept the Weinmann 27" wheels, but later decided to go 700c for better tire selection. I pulled the simplex shifters and derailleurs and extra chain rings to get ready for single speed set up.

The set up is as follows:

Wheels: second hand double wall 700c Back(front) silver (rear).
Gearing: 38 x 18 Tires: second hand 700c x 35c panaracer crosstown(front) Kenda Kwest (rear).
Brakes: Mafac racer center pull with cool stop salmon shoes.(new cables and housing)
Brake levers: Dia comp inverse.
Bars: Flipped city bars with cloth.
Pedals: second hand clipless platform.
Saddle: second hand velo plush.
Fenders: Velo Orange stainless.
Rack: CETMA cargo five rail.
Lights: Old school Nite rider with water bottle battery.

Most used parts from City bikes co-op, Portland, Oregon and The re-cyclery, also Portland, Oregon.

Thanks
