I received this 1980 Schwinn World Sport for free from a friend and this is what my 10 year old son and I turned it into. Everything you see is original parts right down to the tubes and tires. The only new part is the rear "single speed" cog.

The handle bars are original and cut into a "bull horn" style and the tape is original. It even carries the original hand brake and cable. Currently the bike is dressed in black but will be changed into yellow accessories in a couple more weeks. the paint is "Spray Bomb" florescent green.
