Progress Shots of this build appear in earlier Working Bike Gallery entries : #17 - #19

Jim,

here's a few pic's of my finished Rivendell porteur, maybe you can tack them onto the bottom of the ones already on your site. (Not a chance! This finished bicycle deserves its own page. - ed.) I did the paint myself with Krylon rattle cans. (I'm pretty sure that this is the first time I've heard "Rivendell" and "Krylon" combined in the same description. But, it looks great. - ed.) Not as durable as a pro paint job but a lot more affordable and I like to do as much as I can myself. I outlined the lugs, just for the heck of it. It came out okay, I think. Thanks for hosting the pictures, I'm also sending you another submission. It's a 1988 Schwinn Paramount 650B conversion with homemade handlebar bag rack and saddlebag support rack.

Thanks, Alistair.
