I don't think my title is really German (I dunno - it reminds me of my high school German... - ed.), but we saw these all over Germany pedaled by postpersons, rain or shine (mostly rain). I guess that they were designed and built especially for the postal service, but they are sturdy and stylish and could be pressed into all kinds of schlepping.
