Hi Jim

Just thought I would send you an update of my Rivendell 26 inch wheel road bike. I made a few changes, and like it more with each change. It works better with slightly skinnier tires, so off came the Conti 1.3's, and on went Panaracer Urban Max 1/25, which seem a LOT smaller in width.

I put on a mostly Dura Ace kit: 8 speed front derailluer, 10 speed rear, nine speed downtube shifters. I really like the precision of the Dura Ace brake levers as well, zero play, any cable movement goes right to the brakes. Same for the dt shifters, I really like the precise shifting they allow with shorter cable runs. Shimano PD 6402 look pedals replaced the previous Looks. Yeah, that Silca color pump does not match, but it does not rattle, so it stays on.

That's Indy, my 105 lb. Labradoodle posing with the bike. He is very photogenic!! He thanks you for your site!!!
