Here are some quick shots of my new Hilsen, fresh out of the box and on the snowy (and cold) sidewalks of Chicago. Most of the of the components are Riv sourced. Right now the derailleurs are IRD Front Compact and Shimano Reverse. I am going to swap those for a lovely pair of never used Simplex which I think better match the Hilsen's character. I really love the Paul Racer Centerpulls. Not sure how I am going to use this bike. Originally it was going to be my commuter and grocery shopper. But a combination of Riv taking forever to get it painted and me having the attention span of a 2 year old, had me kit a single speed (photos later) for urban riding during the long wait. I am sure I will think of something.
