Hi,

Here's my first submission to your wonderful gallery. The frame is a vintage early to mid eighties Bob Jackson. The paint and transfers are all original and there are many scratches which add to it's charm. It was built for 27 inch wheels and was spaced 126mm in the rear. It also came with a nice Jim Blackburn rack. The original components were all Suntour, with down tube shifters, 5 speed freewheel and a triple crank set. The wheels were in tough shape so I had the rear triangle spread by my LBS to 130 mm. I had a set of Alex Aclass wheels hanging around so I put on a 9 speed cassette, a mid 90's Campagnolo rear derailleur, a Campagnolo Centaur compact crank, Nitto Moustache bar, Ritchey Force stem and some Suntour bar end shifters. I also used a Profile aluminum seat post and a comfy San Marco Rolls saddle. The brake levers and front derailleur are original Suntour. The finishing touch is a beautiful set of wood fenders.

I've got it set up with 700x23 tires, but they will be replace soon with a new set of Alex X2100 rims and some 30 to 35 mm tires.

Thanks, Rich
