The frame is a Bontrager Santa Cruz. Not sure of the year but it was a pre-trek model with the original forest green paint. In the before photos it's got a mix of components, the only ones I kept were the King HS, Spot fork, and seatpost. Frame was rewelded with single speed drop outs by Circle A bikes. Paint was dry coated pumpkin orange by an automotive guy who also sandblasted it for $75. Old Pauls Stoplights (still my favorite canti's of all time), Mary bar and Time DH pedals. Built totally bomber wheels with Syncros DH rims and Phil Wood hubs. The more current version has a brooks saddle, wooden fenders and cork grips. Commute everyday rain or shine. I will confess it is a bit of a tank but it has a lot of hustle too.
