Hi.

Here are some pictures of my Proteus. I built it up to go back and forth down to the drug store for odds and ends. The drug store closed down while I was building the bikeÉbut a convenience store opened up in its placeÑhooray! Unsure of the frame's year...mid-70's? I got it about 10 years ago from a swap meet for $50. This spring I got the itch to try a home-made (rattle can) paint job and build it back up. Parts are a mix of what I had around the garage, and what I could get for cheap: Sugino XD cranks, MKS touring pedals, Campy rear derailleur (unknown model--Athena maybe), Shimano R600 brakes (long-reach), MA40 rims, Kelly stem, Velo-Orange bars/grips/thumbies/brake levers. Currently shopping for a wire basket to put on top of the rack.
