Now, for something different: A WTB Phoenix transformed into an 8-speed 69'er, that is, a 26" rear with a 29" front wheel. The rest -- Salsa fork and grips, Mary bars, Sugino cranks, Avid front disc and rear V brake, Shimano RF 8-speed shifter and brake levers, ancient Shimano R derailer and rear hub, King headset and ISO disc F hub, USE post, Thomson stem, eggbeaters, WTB saddle and QR's. A very fun ride with a front end that's real easy to lift over the bumps in the trail.
