With technical advise and encouragement from my brothers, who know about these things, I decided to build a bike.

My 3 speed bike is so comfortable, I used the same upright design for a commuter project. This 1970"s Raleigh Competition frame is very light. Albatross bars take mountain bike brake levers, and bar-end shifters. The ride to work is not far, but there is one tough hill, therefore, a triple crank with mountain bike gearing is used. Tektro long reach brakes are good for safety. I built the wheels myself. I just need to find a good way to mount a rear rack. Fenders are coming.

Any comments/suggestions are welcome, thanks

Specs:
Mavic rims
Shimano (600?) triple crank:24/34/46
