this is my 1972 peugeot UO8 that i recently converted to a single speed.

i kept the mafac center pull calipers, bottom bracket cups and the seat and post . everything else is new.

i rebuilt the head tube and bottom bracket with new bearings and loose balls.

the bottom bracket spindle is shimano. sinz cranks and chainring (41t). cane creek brake levers with new cables. weinman rm19 rims with seca 27x1.25 fps serfas tires. the color for the new paint job came from a 1973 peugeot brochure. four coats of automotive primer, six color coats.

i haven't applied the tube stickers yet. when that is complete i'll apply four clear coats.

rides like a dream and attracts lots of attention from afficianados.
