Surly Karate Monkey - 16" frame

My Surly Karate Monkey was designed more for cruising and fire trails rather than seeing any real rocky action. The gearing is a bit tough as I jumped on a great deal on a 44T chainring, but now regretting it and going to a 38T very soon. I designed the decals myself and had a local shop in town make a bunch for me. I have some more so if you're interested in some, shoot me an email.

Here's the build list:
-16" Surly Karate Monkey frame and fork
-Chris King NoThreadset pewter headset
-Nitto UI-G5X 90mm stem -Nitto Jitensha flatbars
-Avid SL levers
-Avid BB7 / 160mm rotors
-Nitto S85 seatpost
-Brooks Swift
-White Industries ENO crankset w/ 44T ring (soon to be 38T)
-White Industries 22T freewheel
-Cork grips / stained mahogany/ clear shellaced
-Sram PC-1 Chain
-Wheels: Phil Wood disc laced 3x double-butted spokes to Salsa Semi-29er disc rims.

and of course...

-Schwalbe Big Apples (29 x 2.35) for built in cushion and suspension and some SPEED!

As always, loving the website and always enjoy the diverse types of bikes I see on here!
